Block Gambling Websites & Apps - Gamban

can you block gambling apps on iphone

can you block gambling apps on iphone - win

Need help taking a break?

For those of you autists who desire a break from gambling, but find willpower to be futile (it is), let me recommend two things that helped me:
1) installing a blocking software called coldturkey (super affordable yet effective). 2) get mommy or gf’s boyfriend to set up screentime on your iphone (note: it’s not enough to block the browser apps, for it’s possible to get on the webs through most third party apps, so safest thing to do is block all third party apps during trading hours). Im not an android user, so not sure what to do there.
Took awhile to get over my losses, but time really does heal. Craving also weakens.
WSB is supposed to be fun. And IT IS fun when you’re having fun - yoloing money you can afford to lose on smart plays and having a good laugh if (read: when) you do lose and calling yourself an autist while you’re at it. WSB is fucking sad when it‘s mostly people losing their life savings and when its used by some to encourage that kind of reckless behaviour. It saddens me that WSB seems to be moving in that direction.

Slotastic Casino Full Review

As the brand name itself indicates, Slotastic is an online casino with a central focus on slots. Despite this, the website offers some gaming variety as its library also features a number of table games, video poker, and casino specialties.
This is a RealTime Gaming-powered casino that welcomes customers from all over the world, including the United States. The casino’s About Us page tells us Slotastic appeals to a motley customer base, consisting of more than 1 million registered players since its launch in December 2009.
The casino is home to more than 300 games available for play on desktop computers via its download platform. There is also a native Android app while iPhone users can access Slotastic in their browsers. Slotastic grabs the attention with a flashy yet organized lobby and an intuitive cashier that supports some of the most common banking methods in the world, such as Visa, Skrill, and Neteller. Similarly to other US-friendly gambling sites, this one, too, allows for payments via cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Litecoin.
The casino maintains the interest of its players by providing them with a great variety of promotions and bonuses, including several welcome offers. Let’s dive deeper into the bonuses awaiting new Slotastic players.

Slotastic Bonuses and Promotions

Slotastic poses as a great online gambling destination for bonus seekers who insist on having a wide choice of limited-time and ongoing promotions. These include free spins on exclusive slots, instant cashbacks, bonus matches on deposits, and a great loyalty scheme.
New customers can make a pick from three different welcome bonuses. The first offer is geared toward the preferences of slot buffs. It consists of 117 free spins on RealTime Gaming’s classic Bubble Bubble.
This bonus is awarded for deposits of at least $25 with the promo code BUBBLETASTIC. It appealed to us because there are no restrictions on the maximum winnings you can cash out. However, you need to wager the winnings amount at least 10x before you ask for a withdrawal. You can use this bonus code a single time only.
The second option newcomers at Slotastic have is a 150% welcome bonus of up to $300, granted on their first deposits of $25 or more with the promo code WINTASTIC. The bonus is valid on first deposits only and is intended for free play on the available slots and keno games.
It has wagering requirements of 30x the bonus and deposit amounts. There is no maximum cashout limit on the winnings you can withdraw. Only the slots, the scratchcards, and the keno games contribute toward the playthrough, but you cannot use the bonus credits to participate in the slot tournaments for free. The value of each free spin is limited to $0.01 per active line. Bubble Bubble is a 50-line slot, which is to say your bets should not exceed $0.50 per spin.
All bingo and table games like craps, baccarat, casino poker varieties, roulette, and blackjack are excluded. If you play them, the casino will terminate your bonus. The same goes for the video poker varieties which are also blocked from bonus participation. Maximum wagers with an active bonus in your account should not exceed $9.99 or else the winnings will be voided.
The third welcome option is geared toward the needs of new players who are looking to make their first deposits with the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. They can receive a 250% up to $1,000 in free credits in exchange for a minimum deposit of $25 via Bitcoin. The code for this one is BTC250.
The terms coincide with those for the other deposit-match offer, i.e. the bonus is subject to wagering of 30x its amount plus the deposited sum. Only slots, scratchcards, and keno have a contribution (of 100%) toward the playthrough. There is a maximum bet restriction of $9.99. Players from the following locations are not entitled to welcome bonuses – Sweden, Bulgaria, Belarus, Indonesia, Greece, Portugal, Romania, Poland, Russia, and Mauritius.
If these perks fail to satiate your appetites for free reel spinning, you can redeem more free spins for the slot Hen House on a daily basis, i.e. once you have finished wagering your welcome bonuses. Players get 10 free spins for a deposit of $10, 20 free spins for deposits of $20, or the maximum of 50 bonus spins for deposits of $50 or more.
You must use the SPINTASTIC promo code in the cashier. Wagering of 30x the winnings is applicable, with max bet restrictions of $0.02 per active payline. The casino’s terms state no maximum cashout applies to this offer.
In addition to these gifts, Slotastic treats reel spinners to a great range of limited-time deposit bonuses, cashbacks, and free spins. As a matter of fact, there are so many offers, it would be next to impossible to cover them all here. It is best for interested players to regularly visit the casino’s cashier where you can see all the bonus coupons that are currently available.
There is also a three-tiered loyalty program you automatically become a part of upon registration. The casino rewards customers with 1 comp point for every $10 they bet on the website. The points can be converted into free credits at a rate of 100 points for $1. Respectively, you need to generate at least 100 points before conversion is possible.

Slotastic Software Providers

If there is one thing most US-friendly online casinos have in common, it must be the software they run on. Slotastic utilizes the software platform of a single supplier, the well-known RealTime Gaming. This is a company with over 20 years of experience in the field of casino solutions development.
The casino boasts a well-designed website that enables you to browse the different gaming categories and locate all the important information with ease. The lobby pretty much has the standard RealTime Gaming interface. After you log in, you get to see the categories of Slots, Table Games, Video Poker, Specialties, Progressives, and Favorites.
The current value of the progressive prizes is displayed in the jackpot meter under the main menu. You can access the cashier with a single click of a button and get to see your available balance at all times. Several useful buttons take you to the live chat facility, the promotions page, and your notifications.
Slotastic gives its players a choice from several options. Customers who intend to play on Microsoft Windows-based desktop computers can download and install the casino’s software, which, unfortunately, is not compatible with any other operating systems. Mac users can load the lobby and the games straight in their desktop browsers.
The casino works just fine in the browsers of smartphones and tablets running on Android and iOS. You can access it in any browser, be it Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Internet Explorer or Safari as long as it is up to date and your wireless connection is reliable enough. Slotastic has also released a dedicated application for Android. You can download it from the casino’s website for free.

Slotastic Banking

Banking is one of the aspects where Slotastic Casino definitely bears improvement. We would like to see more deposit and withdrawal options added in the future as befits an operator that supports play from most countries worldwide.
For the time being, Slotastic customers can make deposits with commonly available payment solutions such as credit cards by Mastercard, American Express and Visa, e-wallets by Skrill, ecoPayz, and Neteller, the prepaid Paysafecard, Neosurf, and the cryptocurrencies Bitcoin and Litecoin.
EasyEFT is also available but can be used by players from South Africa only. Another option is to call customer support on the number we have provided in the table above. The support agents will help you deposit over the phone. No additional costs are associated with the deposits.
The minimum and maximum limits depend on the deposit method you use. You can top up your account with $25 to $500 with the credit cards or deposit anywhere between $5 and $2,000 with e-wallets like ecoPayz.
Deposits with Paysafecard can range between $5 and $300 while those made with the Neosurf vouchers have limits of $10 and $250. Cryptocurrency depositors must comply with limits of $25 and $2,500.
There are but a few options where withdrawals are concerned. Players can cash out the wins from their Slotastic accounts with Bitcoin, MoneyGram, ecoPayz, Skrill, Neteller, checks or wire transfers. The minimum limits on withdrawals are $25 for ecoPayz, $180 for courier checks, and $100 for the other supported solutions. The maximum is $2,500 per method ($3,000 for checks) and $10,000 per week.
You have the option to reverse your withdrawals while the requests are still pending. We personally think this works to the disadvantage of some players. People sometimes get tempted to continue gambling until they give whatever they have won back, so manual flushing is always the more preferable option in our opinion.
So what are the processing times for withdrawals from Slotastic? It all depends on what method you use. The quickest way to cash out would be to use the supported e-wallets or Bitcoin where withdrawals take place instantly after approval. Withdrawals with courier checks and wire transfers may take up to 10 business days.
Unfortunately, there is no good news to report where transaction costs are concerned. If you are looking to avoid extra charges, you should withdraw with the cryptocurrency or the e-wallets. The fees associated with the other available withdrawal methods are eye-watering. You have to pay $30 extra per courier check and $60 extra per wire transfer. You might also end up paying additionally for currency conversion since Slotastic works with USD only.

Slotastic Mobile Casino

Slotastic provides mobile players with two options. There is a highly functional in-browser application that requires no additional software installation. This enables you to play without wasting any storage space on your smartphone. You simply have to type in the casino’s address in your browser or scan the QR code posted on the website. Android users can download a native app to install on their devices.
We regret to say there is not much versatility for mobile players at Slotastic, though. The in-browser app is home to 100 or so mobile games, most of which are slots. There are around 15 video poker variations including Deuces Wild, RealTime Gaming’s trademark Loose Deuces, and Jacks or Better.
The mobile casino is short of table games, but you still get to play European Roulette, Suit ‘Em Up Blackjack, Classic Blackjack, and Tri Card Poker. Some of the most popular RealTime Gaming jackpot games have also been optimized for play on the go. The biggest pots drop in the progressive Aztec’s Millions.
You can add games to your list of favorites by tapping the star icons next to the thumbnails. Tapping the info button shows you all you need to know about the games you are interested in, from their volatility level to their themes and special features.
Slotastic’s in-browser app compensates with a simplified, yet elegant and user-friendly design. The circular mobile lobby features oversized round buttons that take you to the different categories of games, the cashier, your favorites, the games you have last played, and the main menu, where you can view your bonus coupons, comp points, promotional messages, and the contact page.
The support chat is accessible at all times via a large-size button that remains glued to the lower right corner of your touchscreen regardless of which page you open. Similarly to the desktop version, the mobile casino can be loaded in English only.

Slotastic Casino Games

Slotastic is a relatively small online casino with a gaming library that comprises around 300 distinct games. Note that the full suite is available via the Windows-compatible download software only. Those who access the casino and play in their browsers are facing half the number of options, with a little over 150 titles. This limited choice makes sense considering the casino uses software by a single supplier only.
There is the standard set of RealTime Gaming titles you can play. Slots make for the largest portion of the portfolio although video poker, keno, scratchcards, and tables games are also available. But enough beating around the bush – let’s examine the gaming library in more detail.

Slots

This casino is called Slotastic for a good reason. It features a solid collection of RealTime Gaming slots with versatile themes, ranging from ancient civilizations and mythology to magical creatures and Vegas lifestyle. Branded slots like Ritchie Valens La Bamba, The Big Bopper, and The Three Stooges are also included.
Slotastic organizes its slot collection on the basis of reel number, features, and jackpot. The 6-reel titles are a must-try including games like Super 6 and Lucky 6. Some of the slots from RealTime Gaming’s Real Series have randomly triggered local jackpots that can drop on any spin regardless of the amount staked. Some of the most appealing slots from this category include Aladdin’s Wishes, Achilles, Ancient Gods, Cleopatra’s Gold, Fire Dragon, Naughty or Nice, and Ghost Ship.
Hairway to Heaven, Naughty or Nice Spring Break, and Polar Explorer have the so-called “Feature Guarantee”. This ensures players will trigger a bonus feature within a designated number of spins. One example is the slot Aztec’s Treasure where the feature meter is set at 150 spins. Players who choose this slot can have the confidence they will trigger a bonus feature at least once every 150 rounds.
The Win-Win feature some slots are equipped with is equally rewarding but in a different way. It gets activated at the end of a round of free spins if you have generated profits smaller than 8x your triggering bet. You need to play all paylines to benefit from the Win-Win feature, though. Some of the Win-Win slots include Loch Ness Loot, The Three Stooges, and Triple Twister.
Slotastic caters to fans of classic slots with several 3-reel titles like Double Ya Luck, Sevens and Stripes, Scuba Fishing, Santastic, and Jumping Beans. Other slot titles that appealed to us include Cai Hong, Bubble Bubble and its sequel, Enchanted Garden II, Eternal Love, Gods of Nature, and I, Zombie.

Table Games

Slotastic is home to a standard suite of table games that features around 18 variants of roulette, blackjack, and casino poker. Baccarat and craps are also available. Fans of the Devil’s wheel have a choice from American and European Roulette where the bets range between $1 and $50.
Blackjack buffs enjoy a greater versatility, having a choice from the standard version of the game, Perfect Pairs, European Blackjack (this is a no-hole-card game), Face Up 21 (RealTime Gaming’s take on Double Exposure), Pontoon, Super 21, Suit ‘Em Up Blackjack, and Match Play 21.
Several variations of casino poker are also available. You can play against the virtual dealers in a game of Vegas Three Card Rummy, Tri Card Poker, Pai Gow Poker, Caribbean Hold’em (which is pretty much the casino version of Texas Hold’em but with an exotic name), and Caribbean Stud. The baccarat and craps games can be found in the Specialties section.

Progressive Jackpot Games

We counted roughly 75 games with local progressive jackpots. This means the prizes are pooled from bets made on the Slotastic platform only. Respectively, you cannot expect gargantuan pots from these games – their prizes typically escalate to four-figure amounts only. Some of the most popular slots with local pots include Small Fortune, Jumping Beans, Rudolph’s Revenge, Samba Sunset, Secret Symbol, Penguin Power, Paydirt, Mermaid Queen, and Mister Money.
You have a more limited choice if massive pots are what you are after. The casino features several slots linked to a wide-area progressive network, with prizes accumulating across all RealTime Gaming-powered websites.
The pots in Aztec’s Millions and Megasaur are symbol-driven whereas the prize in Spirit of the Inca drops whenever it reaches its boiling point. The jackpot of Aztec’s Millions is way overdue since it has not dropped since 2009. The table games Caribbean Stud and Caribbean Hold’em are also linked to progressive networks.

Video Poker

Fans of video poker are catered to with 14 distinct variations of their favorite game including Loose Deuces, Aces & Eights, All American Poker, Bonus Deuces Wild, Bonus Poker, Bonus Poker Deluxe, Deuces Wild, Double Bonus Poker, Double Jackpot Poker, Jacks or Better, Joker Poker, and Sevens Wild.
Each of the above-listed games is available in the multiple-hand format, with players having a choice from 1, 3, 10, or 52 hands at a time. Just keep in mind each hand you play requires an individual bet. For example, if you are playing five credits of $0.50 per hand in the 52-hand variant of Jacks or Better, you are practically wagering $130 per round.

Slotastic Licensing and Regulations

Slotastic has not published any information in regard to licensing, ownership, and regulations on its official website, which only works to its detriment. In our opinion, it is common courtesy to inform one’s customers who they are gambling with and under what license. There are no details on who audits the games for fairness and what their theoretical return is. We hope to see higher levels of transparency from Slotastic in the future.
After a little digging on the web, it was established Slotastic allegedly operates under the licensing and regulations of the British Virgin Islands. Customers’ funds and personal information are protected with SSL encryptions.
Slotastic also embraces responsible gambling. Players can self-exclude, take a temporary break from gambling, or set limits on their deposits. The casino does not allow for real-money play from the UK and New Jersey.

Slotastic Customer Support

Slotastic players who need help are facing several avenues of communication with the casino’s support staff. The easiest and quickest way to contact them is via the live chat. The chat facility is staffed at all times of day and night, which is certainly beneficial for the casino’s vast multi-national player base.
The downside is that when all human agents are busy servicing other customers, you may end up chatting with the “friendly” Chat Bot. The latter is pretty much useless since it provides you with a link to the FAQ section most of the times.
You are automatically connected with a real human being as soon as an agent is available, though. The support staff makes an overall good impression with their professionalism and friendliness. You can also drop Slotastic’s support a few lines via email at [email protected]. Support is provided over the telephone as well. The number you need to dial is +1 866 890 6738.

Conclusion

Slotastic has both its downsides and advantages. The biggest positive here is that the casino welcomes play from a huge number of jurisdictions including the United States. Another benefit is that the website is jam-packed with bonuses and promotional incentives. If you are looking for generous offers, this is the place to drop by. We also liked the website’s design. All categories are easy to spot and the games load quickly both on desktop and mobile.
The biggest con here is the absence of regulatory information. As we said earlier, we hope to see this fixed in the future in the interest of transparency. It would have been great if the casino supported more payment options as well.
The gaming library itself is definitely not the most diverse one, with only 150 games in the casino’s flash version. Despite its downsides, Slotastic will appeal to RealTime Gaming fans from the US who insist on fast withdrawals and lots of bonuses.

DAY 6️⃣ - How I restrict gambling on my Iphone

This is a long post, restricting gambling websites through screentime but it works. If you have experience with screentime then you know this stopped working because they added a “forgot passcode” feature but I found a way around that.
This is my guide on how to block gambling websites on the iphone. This is usefull for the people who know how to bypass gamban, betblocker etc and found out that those apps are worthless. Or just for people who hate them apps because it makes their phone slow and what not.
Please note you MUST have no passcode set on your iphone to unlock it, because it sucks but I just found a way while writting this guide to bypass this with that. I’m not sure about face lock feature because I never used that on my iphone xs max.
I did this a week ago, there might be a few minor mistakes because I am unable to check this on my phone now because I have restricted being able to access there steps so make sure do double check everything. This only works on iphone, update your phone to latest ios 14. 1) Go to settings > screentime on your phone. In the beginning if you need to setup a password just choose 0000 so that we can get all the steps done. 2) Click on content & privacy restrictions, then swipe content and privacy restrictions to the right so that it green as its on now 3) Now this depends on how you gamble, if your a person who downloads apps and plays through that, then you can click itunes app store purchases and just disable you being able to download new apps, I personally dont, I play through websites on the phone so I Click on content restrictions. 4) click on web content, now you can either go hardcore and choose allowed websites only ( this will 100% block you from gambling because yeah, you can only visit websites that you have allowed in the page ) I personally didnt choose this as this can be a bit too much because I also want to be able to use my phone for google and what not so I choose limit adult websites. Now yes this means you cannot watch porn anymore but if you do want to be able to watch that, then you can just add the websites you wanna keep on watching at "allowed websites" 5) now.. you start adding all the websites that you always play at on section 'never allow' also try to google as many websites as possible so that you dont create an account on a website you never played before, seriously take a day and write all the websites in there. I usually gamble through crypto so I took 2 days litterly finding all crypto websites and ive put them in my list. You cannot bypass this methode with vpn and stuff like that like you can with gamban so yeah it will do the job. Only way to bypass this method is to do a hard reset on your phone, but that would erase everything so is it really worth it.. as it takes alot of time seriously and by that time you already hopefully lost the urge to gamble. My tip is go on askgamblers website and find there also as many websites as possible, also maybe block the websites where you get your crypto etc.. be creative and figure out how you can get the max out of this. 6) I also blocked siri from being able to web search incase you can bypass and visit websites like that not sure (this is not a must) do it if you dont care about siri. 7) Now create a recovery key on the iphone. To generate a Recovery Key in iOS, go to Settings > account name > Password & Security and tap Recovery Key. I cant even remember how long this key was, its about 15-25 digits. I DID NOT WRITE MY KEY DOWN. Keep listening what I did, you can if you want but the key is the reason why this works. 8) Now I changed my iphones icloud password, into the key as that being the password. Because its random words, I wont remember it. Because with your icloud your able to recover the screentime passcode and you wont be able too because it will ask for your recovery key, thats why this works. 9) Now I created a account on futureme.org (Website where you can send your self a email to the future). And I set it so that my recovery key would come in 180 days from my date 17 september. You can do less, or you can do other ways if you want but this is what works for me because your unable to view that email earlier then its sent out etc plus the customer support wont let you view it earlier so dont waste your time emailing them as it takes them anyway atleast 2 months to reply lol. Because only with this key, your able to recover your password that your about to set for screentime. 10)click again on content and privacy restrictions and go down, click on passcode changes dont allow and account changes dont allow. You see, you can only recover your iphone recovery key through your iphone it self basically because you will try go on your laptop or safari and recover it, because you dont know the recovery key then it will ask you to confirm it on your phone and finish the recovery through your phone but because you just did this step 10, you wont be able too so your stuck waiting untill future me emails your password. 11) This is the final step, before you do this step make sure you check everything 10 times.. so that there are no mistakes. go to screen settings on your phone, click on change screentime passcode, in the beginning you set it to 0000 now your gonna set it to something your not gonna remember. Your not gonna use futureme for this because you already did that with your recovery key and thats all you need to recover and change your password. This part can be annoying because its not that complicated to forget A 4 digit code. You can ask someone to set this for you and basically try to tell them not to remember the code. Please dont give that code to someone and try to let them hold on to it, we both know this shit doesnt work and your gonna get the code out of them and your gonna fuck up again. Because of futureme, you GOT TO WAIT. NO BS around it thats why I love it. What I did was, I just kept on creating sooo many password changes in a row untill I got confused and forgot what code I just setup and thats how I did it, cant remember mine currently so it works for me.
Before you do step 11, the final step where you set a new 4 digit passcode and decide to go on this lockdown forever how long, please make sure to check everything and make sure your unable to visit your websites and get as many websites as possible. Also seriously basically try to hack your self and see if you can, so that you know if you made a mistake or not. I tried to get in for hours before doing this and it didnt work, seriously no way around it. If you forgot your recovery key, you gotta go on iphones website but then you its gonna tell you to look for a notification on your phone and to finish it through your phone but because of step 10, you wont be able too because you disabled passcode changes etc through the phone.
My advice for the pc/laptop is to download gamban or betblocker. It works on there, only way around it there is to go on a vpn but yeah, nobody is stupid to risk that and have the casino block their winnings because they are on a vpn lol but for the phone people we all know how easy it is to bypass those apps but with this you cant as its from apple it self.
Any questions feel free to ask. I hope i didnt miss anything thats why check for your self before you enter the real 4 digit passcode. Also do not have a passcode on your phone for screen unlock, I personally found a way to change your icloud password with this and that fucks it up. If you have no passcode setup then that way it ask you for your recovery key, which you dont know. Cheers!

Desperately need help, people are monitoring my phone

My girlfriend paid what I am calling a “hacker” to get a log of my old, deleted texts and emails, because she was “suspicious of me” cheating (I’m not). Although I have some admittedly sketchy things I sometime partake in that she is partially aware of (gambling, drug procural, porn) I think this measure is way over the line. She won’t give me exact details of what she can see but definitely knows numbers of people I’ve texted, has seen some texts of deleted texts(iPhone), old gmail emails sent and since deleted, and most recently is seeing any app I use and download. Also internet history. I am fucking dying here as everything I do she is watching, and recently said “I haven’t cloned your phone yet but I may have to so I can literally see everything” what the fuck? This seems illegal. I have given her gmail passwords and she may know my Mac password but I’ve changed them as well as Gotten a new fucking phone and I’m still being watched at every turn. Can anybody shed some light on what this guy did to allow her too see all this stuff on my iPhone and how I can block it or restrict it? I know you can download stuff on people’s phones but I’m pretty sure that’s not the case here as I just got a new iPhone 11 and it kept happening. Thanks so much, I’m struggling here...

iOS Gaming no. 14: The Enchanted Cave 2

Introduction
Welcome, Adventurers, to this week's edition of iOS Gaming. To your left you will find the museum; the right, the inn. Before you is the Cave—The Enchanted Cave, to be precise. What's it enchanted with? No one knows—but it holds all the gold and weaponry your greedy little heart desires. So come! Drink deep and, when the sun rises, enter the Cave. Enter, and greet the dark below.
On a far less ominous (and, therefore, less interesting), please click here if you would like to read the previous review. If you would like to provide feedback (Of any sort, and particularly criticism!), your best bet is to visit the Trinity Force Network Discord server, and either tag me in #general-gaming, or message me directly @Syger#233. Alternatively, you can message me on Reddit, or send me an [email]([email protected]) (But please don't abuse my inbox!).
Lastly, I would like to thank the developer, Dustin Auxier, for so generously providing a key for this review. Enchanted Cave 2 scratched an itch for a roguelike dungeon crawler I was not aware I had—thank you for that. I look forward to your next game as well, and hope it is every bit as flavourful.
Details
Game: Enchanted Cave 2
Developer: Dustin Auxier
Price: $5.99
In-App Purchases: No gambling legislation necessary—this game is in-app purchase free!
Device used: iPhone XS Max
The Review
The Enchanted Cave 2 is quite a delightful experience. While it certainly lacks the breathtaking visuals of many more recent games, it more than makes up for the deficit with its charming 8-bit graphics and a killer soundtrack, nevermind the dungeon crawling!
Though it lacks the fast-paced hack & slash challenge of Grimvalor, the duels of Infinity Blade, or the unique flavour of Sword & Glory, it is in no way diminished. Where both Grimvalor and Sword & Glory are primarily focused on exploration, and Infinity Blade is a boss battler through and through, TEC2 trades those qualities for one no less valuable: Dungeon crawling. While it can be argued that Infinity Blade is also a dungeon crawler, it is also a distinctly different kind of dungeon crawler in that it simply does not have the strategic depth of The Enchanted Cave 2. Central to this strategic depth is the mechanic of monster movement. That is, they don't move. While it sounds absurd, it means that a patient adventurer can simply walk around many monsters and, in doing so, save quite a bit of health and mana—allowing them to push deeper, faster, than someone who kills everything in sight.
Which, conveniently, relates to what is potentially an even more important distinction: The Enchanted Cave 2, like it's predecessor, is a roguelike. Central to this are the two different kinds of equipment: Cursed loot, and artifacts. The majority of what will be found in the Cave is cursed to be destroyed when an adventurer dies or uses their escape wings to leave the dungeon (Thus, cursed loot). Artifacts, on the other hand, will not be destroyed upon exiting the dungeon, and are usually more powerful than other equipment. Unlike equipment, crafting materials and gold, cannot naturally be artifacts. However, with the Transmutation spell, any carryable item can be enchanted to become an artifact. Fortunately, adventurers can take more than just artifacts form a dungeon. Gold, and direct character progression such as level ups, stat points, and skill points, are all able to be removed—provided, of course, there is not an unfortunate accident resulting in death.
Gameplay is not the only area which shines, however. For those certain connoisseurs of music, there is a wonderfully chipper soundtrack from none other than Grant Kirkhope (Yes, that Grant Kirkhope). For those who have played Oceanhorn or Kingdoms of Amalur, the background music is surprisingly familiar—though not, I would like to point out, in a bad way. Despite being rather simple (It is certainly not as complex, nor as long, as KoA's soundtrack), it fits very well, and is a welcome companion to slaying monsters. That said, I wish the decision to not include the full, extended versions of some tracks had not been made. It's very jarring to hear the music swell as is if to continue—and then cut off abruptly and begin looping. This does not happen, I am led to believe, on the desktop versions.
Visually, The Enchanted Cave 2 is not stunning. That is not to say it is hideous, mind you, but that it is not a masterpiece of realistic rendering, vivid hues, or sublime minimalism. It is, however, visually unique. The game's 8-bit art, while certainly not modern, is clear and appealing, creating a tasteful atmosphere. While other styles could certainly have been used (notably a minimalist style, like Alto's Adventure, or some garish retro amalgamation), the handcrafted textures are far, far superior.
Unfortunately, no matter how delightful a game is, there are very few (Dare I say none?) without flaws, and TEC2 is no exception. There are a range of issues ranging from small, nitpicky things like not being able to pan across the floor or the tedium of movement through long vertical hallways, to slightly the slightly more bothersome lack of information regarding what certain things do (Specifically, what does bleed do? What about Decimate, or "magic"?), to the major, should really be fixed problem: The Enchanted Cave 2 does not support the iPhone X format. While this is mostly a minor inconvenience cutting the corners from a few UI elements, making the hotbar a bit finicky and, at worst, rendering a portion of the enemy character block unreadable, there is a major issue with the game's small UI: When the small UI is toggled, the home bar almost completely covers the hotbar and mostly covering the inventory button, making any skills, potions, or items on it unusable. While they are still usable from the inventory (if you can open it), it's a very suboptimal workaround.
In the end, I would like to recommend the game. I really would. It does several neat things, it's an actual dungeon crawler, and I loved the original flash game. However, without iPhone X support, and at its current price point of $5.99, I just don't think it's worth the money. However! Should either of those things change (Or if you can ignore the iPhone X support and the other minor issues I've mentioned are immaterial), The Enchanted Cave 2 is definitely worth grabbing for that extended overnight plane ride to Tokyo.
Conclusion
That's it this week folks! While I have already decided what the next game will be, I would love your input as to what the game after that should be (Or, the game after after that, depending). I have quite the list! As usual, thank you for taking the time read, and I would love to hear your feedback! See just below (or back at the top—your choice) for the various sundry ways I can be reached. Good luck with your final exams (if applicable), and have a splendid week!

I thought a question & answer thing might be helpful. I added what I can think for now and we can add more.

-> Over 120 Questions and Answers On The Papini Case <-
A lot of post, logs, details, screenshots and even social media and websites have been removed since this case first hit the news. It has never be solved. It seems like more of a protection racket then anything else. While the scso/cops continue to hold back the details of the case and "supposedly" search for two ghostly (harmless) female kidnappers, it is very difficult to try and piece things together. Here is as many questions as I can come up with for now. Please post answers in the sub if you can. I've numbered them so they can be copied and pasted. Oh and I understand that a some of these questions can only be answered via conjecture.
The SCSO should stop siting on their hands and release all the details in this case. They should let the public help solve it. Like the Police did with the Quinn Grey case.
Got a question and/or answer? Just post it below or message me.
(1.) Did KP know and/or suspect SP was Cheating on him?
(A.) I still think KP had no idea or even suspected .. wyome1
(A.) husbands generally know, but they have powerful reasons to deny the obvious .. bigbzoar
(A.) I think he suspected her of cheating, but didn't know the extent of it .. 8088XT8BIT
(2.) Was SP cheating on KP around Redding?
(A.) Unsubstantiated rumor. However, I think this came from the same "source" who said SP was planning to meet MM and that detail was substantiated by the police .. alg45160
(A.) Unsubstantiated rumor. Someone calling themselves - Redding Resident - On a blog about CG had this to say - "I heard SP she was having an affair and hubby and police know this. She was at her lovers house the day / night before she disappeared"
(3.)
(A.)
(4.) SP was hiding male phone contacts under women's names?
(A.) Unsubstantiated rumor. However, I think this came from the same "source" who said SP was planning to meet MM and that detail was substantiated by the police .. alg45160
(A.) It could go back to the days when she worked for AT&T and was away from home a lot .. 8088XT8BIT
(5.) Did SP take the children to day care that morning?
(A.) There is no doubt about this, yes - "Sherri was last seen dropping her children off at daycare in the morning" - per FBI .. bigbezoar
(A.) I read in old sub that SP usually dropped off the kids, but was often late dropping them off and picking them up. (MarkMyWords / Papini) .. 8808XT8BIT
(A.) We know the kids were at daycare, although I guess it hasn't been explicitly stated that SP was the one who dropped them off .. alg45160
(6.) What time do the children usually arrive at day care?
(A.) Usually sometime before 8:00 or 9:00 am .. 8808XT8BIT
(7.) Is it true they have video surveillance of SP (in attempted disguise) at an airport a few days before she was discovered.
(A.) It has been stated that she was seen 3 days before her return at the San Bernardino? airport. She failed to disguise herself properly and is on video. Apparently SCSO & the DA know this .. 8808XT8BIT
(8.) Why would Sherri not take her phone with her?
(A.) She did take her phone with her but was "separated" from her phone allegedly at gunpoint by two kidnappers .. bigbezoar
(A.) She wouldn't be able to hideout while using her phone. The authorities would be able to locate / find her. I think SP knew this because she worked for a phone company .. 8808XT8BIT.
(9.) Who put a tracker on SP's phone and did she know about it?
(A.) We assume KP did, but if she knew about it is an interesting question. I don't use iPhones, but I think the "find my iPhone" app is pretty popular and used by a lot of people who aren't necessarily trying to track someone's movements. Can't you use it to find a stolen or lost phone? .. alg45160
(A.) Just did a little research and the "find my phone app" comes preinstalled on iPhones .. 8808XT8BIT
(A.) iPhones have a "Health" icon built in on the app screen. It logs the number of steps you take and the time you took them. It is shown in a graph format (by hour, day, month, etc..). If LE checked out SP's phone, they should have had a pretty good time frame of when she left to go jog, how far she ran, and when her phone stopped recording steps .. 8808XT8BIT
(10.) Was SP allowed to shave while (supposedly) kidnapped?
(11.) Was she wearing any jewelry (wedding ring, etc) when abducted and if yes, did she still have it when she returned?
(12.) How do we know MM was actually married?
(A.) No official statement ever said he was married, it was just rumored .. bigbzoar
(A.) We don't. We don't even know for sure that he was a Dr., although (again) I think this came from the same "source" who said SP was planning to meet MM and that detail was substantiated by the police .. alg45160
(13.) Did the cops check out the other men listed in SP's phone?
(A.) I did some research and it would be normal for the cops to check out all the men listed in her phone and any conversations she might have had with them .. 8808XT8BIT
(A.) Assuming there were other men in her phone, they damn sure should have checked them out .. alg45160
(14.) Was SP & KP not getting along and did SP want out of the marriage?
(A.) Obviously if SP was cheating with other men behind KP's Back - Something was very wrong .. 8808XT8BIT
(15.) Did SP withdraw $1200.00 two days before she vanished?
(A.) This info came from CamGam right here on Reddit. Hard to know if anything he says is the truth, though .. alg45160
(A.) On the 20/20 interview KP stated that she gave most of the (cash) money to daycare and left the rest home in a wallet. We don't know anything about this account. We don't know how much was going into it and/or coming out of it - at any given time. Why would SP withdraw a large sum of cash and leave it at home? Especially after (secretly) setting up a date with another man .. 8808XT8BIT
(A.) I have never been clear on whether she withdrew the money from the bank or not. Maybe this is money she "earned" from the job she worked. Had SP and KP been fighting over SP spending money and she was repaying it cause she was tired of hearing him complain about it? In my mind I can see her slamming the money down on the dresser and shouting "here's your damn money back - asshole!" . And then leaving thereafter .. Bark3times
(16.) How many creepy connections are there to the Bethel Church?
(A.) Hard to say what the total number is, but there are some .. 8808XT8BIT
(17.) Is SP left or right handed?
(A.) I think it was determined (in an earlier discussion) that she is left handed .. 8808XT8BIT
(18.) Was SP really seen near abduction point around 9:00 am on the morning she vanished?
(A.) We have pretty solid documentation that Sherri was seen near the mailboxes at least twice, and probably 3 times (9am, 11am, 2pm) - https://imgur.com/a/SpVTr - and the Sheriff confirmed she was seen by telephone repairmen at about 2pm .. bigbzoar
(19.) Did SP sign up to have something done in the Solon the day she went missing, or was this an intentional distraction by LJ?
(A.) This is unclear because someone may be lying. There is a police report showing (LJ) reported seeing SP at the mall that morning. She supposedly took a ticket to have something done at the solon and then went to a craft store. LJ claims she never made any such report. Is someone lying? .. 8808XT8BIT
(20.) Did SP have a pic of a plane ticket from MM to Detroit?
(A.) Unsubstantiated rumor. However, I think this came from the same "source" who said SP was planning to meet MM and that detail was substantiated by the police .. alg45160
(21.) Was there a message with the plane ticket picture - Whoot Whoot .. 2 more days?
(A.) Unsubstantiated rumor. However, I think this came from the same "source" who said SP was planning to meet MM and that detail was substantiated by the police .. alg4516
(22.) Did SP think she had found her sugar-daddy and didn't plan on returning?
(A.) If SP wanted a better / richer life with a sugar-daddy - This could most certainly be true. It does happen. Seeing that the police confirmed that SP did have men listed in her phone under women's names, she was already keeping secrets form KP .. 8808XT8BIT
**(23.) Why was the phone left behind?
(A.) Still unknown .. Here is a good discussion. ... 8808XT8BIT
(24.) What time did the family become aware that their phones were off?
(25.) Did the phone need to be powered on in order to be tracked?
(A.) If you are the NSA - Yes. If you are not - No. In most cases, when you turn your phone off—even if you do not remove the battery—it will stop communicating with nearby cell towers and can be traced only to the location it was in when it was powered down .. 8808XT8BIT
(26.) Did KP know Sherri was going to run off and did he suspect it was with MM?
(A.) It is believed that something was going on that day. KP's explanation of seeing SP that morning is off. There is something strange about it. I tend to think SP didn't spend the night at home. She probably arrived in time to take the kids to daycare. There is rumor that she had a boyfriend and was with him the night before she vanished. SP being separated from her phone is unusual. Unless she had another (secret) phone. At this time it isn't known if she left with the intention of meeting up with another man. The consensus seems to be this - LE stated MM supposedly canceled (family emergency) his intended rendezvous with SP and they didn't meet .. 8808XT8BIT
(27.) Has SP gone on "business" "girlfriend trips" before?
(A.) Reports verified Sherri had taken business trips to Humblodt Co., 8 hours away that would have likely required staying there overnight .. bigbzoar
(A.) A client of SP's said her job as an AT&T Rep could have meant nights out of town .. 8808XT8BIT
(28.) Is SP lying and actually knows who her (supposed) abductors are?
(A.) There may be no "real" abductors and she could be making it all up. She had male DNA on her when she returned .. 8808XT8BIT
(29.) Why is LE being so secretive and for so long - It is like some undercover spy operation?
(30.) Where did SP drop her packages she sold online?
(31.) Did KP submit to a DNA test?
(A.) Both Keith & Sherri would have had to been tested for DNA analysis otherwise any DNA testing would be useless without knowing that a specimen was NOT from them. Plus, SCSO said they tested the male specimen found on Sherri and it did not match Keith, so they had to have Keith's sample .. bigbezoar
(32.) What do we know about a (Tan Chevy Suburban) that is mentioned so often in the police logs?
(A.) Some said it may have belong to one of the people involved in the ground search for SP, but there is no current information (that I know of) on the owner .. 8808XT8BIT
(33.) Is SP's friend and wedding photographer - known as SacramentoSally on other message boards and is she the same SacramentoSally who posted here on Reddit?
(34.) Why won't Sheriff Bosenko let the public help and stop hiding the facts?
(A.) My biggest question since the beginning - the Sheriff is stumped and won't talk to the public or media - which to me proves he is no longer interested at all in solving this case .. bigbzoar
(A.) He is probably willing to let the case morph into a happy "negotiated?" mutual stalemate where the case just dies away and it all blows over. Lock the case into a frozen state, so no one can get anything via the FOIA. It's very likely that case has more then it's fair share of LE corruption and insider cronyism .. 8088XT8BIT
(A.) Looks like Sheriff Bo has been pressured by insiders to drop the case, go with the SP's abduction story and let supermom walk .. 8808XT8BIT
(35.) Do the cops know it is all a lie and they protecting a hoax?
(A.) They know a lot more then they are saying, but they've probably been silenced by Sheriff Bo his gang of insiders. Hopefully they won't be silenced much longer and something big will leak out .. 8088XT8BIT
(36.) Did Christine Everson see SP at the gas station, or was it a distraction?
(A.) More then likely an intentional distraction by one of the (insiders) co-conspirators. Why would you leave the girl on her own. Why wouldn't you take a picture and immediately (secretly even) call 911. Why no pictures? This woman has connections to other insiders and to Bethel .. 8808XT8BIT
(A.) LE seem to be satisfied that it wasn't SP. Just another blonde woman in a truck with two me .. 8808XT8BIT
(37.) Was SP escorting and on a hookup site?
(A.) Unsubstantiated rumor - A reddit user who seemed to know some inside information the case, mentioned that SP was on the hookup called: myscarletbook. The site closed down, so we wasn't able to confirm the rumor.
(38.) Why did SP's sister stumble all over question by reporter: Does SP work outside the home?
(A.) I think this is a good indication that SP was most certainly working outside the home. Secretly - Under the table .. so to speak. She could have been making money online while drawing UI and not reporting it .. 8808XT8BIT
(39.) Was SP being paid for her services via Amazon?
Since her Amazon wish list (pages) have been bleached - There is no way to know. Not unless someone saved screenshots and/or copies of the pages. Someone else may be able to answer this question .. 8808XT8BIT
(40.) Is SP's family deceiving KP and keeping serious stuff from him?
(A.) I think SP's mother warned KP about SP and what she was like.
(41.) Who (eventually) went and picked up the kids at day care?
(A.) The boostecar seats were in SP's Car, so maybe KP went and picked them up.
(42.) Was SP meeting up with men for sex when she worked for AT&T?
(A.) This is entirely possible, be cause she spent time (nights) away from home .. 8808XT8BIT
(43.) Why did LJ report a sightings of SP at the Mall / Solon and later say she didn't?
(A.) It looks like someone is lying. Either LJ is lying in order to distract police away from SP's trail, or the police are lying and LJ made no such report .. 8808XT8BIT
(44.) Was SP Branded with the word / message - Slut?
(A.) There is a lot of (LE) monkey business going on concerning the burn / brand / tattoo, or whatever it is. My guess is - A small burn/brand of the word MILF and/or SLUT. Now, they can't read it. They've been saying all along that it isn't a symbol, that it's a message. They say they've even "special lighting," but still can't tell us what "message" is. Supposedly - They can't read it, because of the - Obscure lettering and the poor quality of the brand. My guess is they know it says Milf. Remember that SP has a serious case of CRS! She isn't going to Sheriff Tubbs Bozo and the keystone cops anything. LE may not have any details about the brand and/or on how she got it. There may be no brand at all. It may have been just a small burn. It looks like the Paps connections, Sheriff Tubbs Bozo, LE / SCSO, City Insiders, Bethel big wigs have all played a part in sweeping this alleged kidding fiasco under the rug. They will bleach everything they can to cover their tracks and seal everything. No one will be able to investigate, or gain access to anything via CA's FOIA. This is a protection racket / coverup. Who investigates this kind of corruption? .. 8808XT8BIT
(45.) Did SP explain why there was male dna on her cloths?
(A,) SP is forgetting and claims she was only with women .. 8808XT8BIT
(A.) LE has already told SP that dna could have been on the cloths when they gave them to her .. 8808XT8BIT
(46.) Did SP & KP go visit the now ex-Mayor right from the hospital?
(A.) The ex-mayor told the media she talked to them "on the phone" and that she knew Keith, but not Sherri .. 8808XT8BIT
(47.) Did kp buy a new truck after they received the gfm money?
(A.) The new blue truck supposedly belonged to a friend and KP borrowed it to go on a vacation to visit relatives. That is what the media reported. There are some reports that KP did purchase a new (blue) truck. After all, they had money from pictures, media interviews, private donations, the GFM and more .. 8808XT8BIT
(48.) Did they go on a vacation after receiving the gfm money?
(A.) Unsubstantiated rumor, but there was a media report of a neighbor saying the Papinis went up north (where there was snow) to visit with wealthy relatives for awhile .. 8808XT8BIT
(49.) Was SP really friends with a porn actress for over 10 years?
(A.) I think this was first reported here on Reddit by CornerGasBrent. On Twitter a women who does porn promoted the FindSherri tag while saying that she had known SP for over a decade. See this link: https://www.reddit.com/thepapinis/comments/7b8ddp/sherri_papini_and_the_1000_per_hour_pornsta .. 8808XT8BIT
(50.) Was SP a cam-girl who would go out and meet men for the right price?
(A.) One of her email addresses was found (via deep search) to be linked to a Cam-Girl site. The site was no longer functioning at that time. So there isn't any proof that she was a cam girl .. 8808XT8BIT
(51.) Who slept in the guest-room at a certain house and left blonde hair behind in the bed?
(A.) This was in the police reports - It was for Nov 2nd 2016. Don't know if the cops followed up on this or not? The owner seemed to think the hair (in and on) the bed belonged to the missing person - SP. They should have done a dna test .. 8808XT8BIT
(52.) Where did the rumor come from that Number 2 wasn't fathered by Keith?
(A.) No - I'm pretty sure they've been cleared to to talk to the media, or whoever they want to talk to .. 8808XT8BIT
(53.) Was KP intentionally trying to botch the investigation by talking to media?
(A.) It sure seemed like it. It was a bad idea for KP to talk to the media when there was an ongoing investigation .. 8808XT8BIT
(54.) Was SP actually kidnapped by KP and company?
(A.) Many people think that KP was in on the kidnapping (to get her home) of SP and it was all done to teach her a lesson. I doubt this story. Others believe it was all planned for fame & money.
(55.) Was SP branded on her back of her right shoulder with the Letters MILF?
(A.) According to SCSO she was branded with a "message" but now the Sheriff says the letters / brand is to crude to read the letters. It is supposedly - THIEF or SLUT or MILF and/or (la) MQMF. This was probably done at 3:00 am after some smoke and heavy drinking .. 8088XT8BIT
(A.) Daisy's source said it may have been slang or maybe Spanish meaning "thief" if I recall correctly .. wyome1
(56.) Is there a very dark side to SP that almost no one has seen?
(A.) A dark side - I have zero doubt - we have ample evidence from the old police reports, from testimony of Sherri's old friends, acquaintances and from an old boyfriend that she has multiple weird variations to her "supermom" personality - including the repeated desire to cause harm & grief to her own family and to physically harm herself them try to blame it on someone else .. bigbezoar
(57.) Who's check book was found by ground searchers?
(58.) Why come on forums and muddy the waters instead of helping to solve the case?
(A.) This was/is probably family, friends and hypocritical Bethelites afraid of the real truth. Got nothing to hide? .. Tell The Truth! .. 8808XT8BIT
(59.) Who introduced KP to media?
(A.) They are family friends with a former local news media anchor, Mike Mangas (something like that). I would assume it was him ..
(A.) Probably Mike Mangas , but I wouldn't be surprised if that was CamGam's idea .. alg45160
(60.) Why did KP go to the Media when the cops didn't want him to?
(A.) Perhaps he thought it would blow the case and the scso would go away. Seems to have worked! .. 8808XT8BIT
(61.) Did SP edit any of her online accounts during the time she was (supposedly) being held by abductors?
(A.) Supposedly - On one accounts - Someone did reply and answer a shoppers questions .. 8808XT8BIT
(62.) Has it been proven that the AD was actually MF, or was it someone else?
(63.) What about those items of clothing found out behind a business (Cornerstone Door & Window) actually SP's jogging suit?
(A.) The police found items of clothing (on 7th Nov) that looked very much like the jogging suit SP was wearing. Did they have DNA testing done on these clothes? They were found near the Chevron - 1.3 miles from where SP was supposedly abducted. Across from the Chevron - Out back of a business called "Cornerstone Door & Window." On - Oregon Trail and Holiday Rd. http://imgur.com/OQMrA97 .. 8808XT8BIT
(64.) Is reporter Mike Mangas a Deacon in the Bethel Church?
(A.) Yes, he is a deacon in the Church. Not sure if it his church connected to Bethel?
(65.) Did the police / scso actually check all the video surveillance around the area .. Like at the Chevron, or not?
(A.) I have to think the cops have reviewed all the video surveillance from the Chevron for the days in question.... that would mean they knew by November 3rd if she was seen and thus the whole story would be blown open.. Can't imagine the cops would miss all that then continue to spend resources sending cops to Detroit and investigating well into December and beyond .. bigbezoar
(66.) I wonder if the police checked video footage (and ATM) from the cameras at the Chevron station? It is located at in the same Oregon Trail / Holiday Road.
(67.) What did a woman (and daughter) who lived out back / behind SP's place want to report directly to an officer and not on the phone?
(68.) The woman's daughter (neighbor) who lived out back / behind SP, wanted to report something to police. According to reports it may have been her mother who wanted to talk to a deputy in person and not by phone. Do we know what she reported, or what she wanted to report?
(69.) Are the parents of both KP & SP wealthy?
(A.) I've read they have businesses and are in pretty good shape financially, but probably not wealthy .. 8808XT8BIT
(70.) Total cost (estimate) of the Papini case / investigation? (Including cost to Search & Rescue)
(71.) Quite a few items were found during the search for SP. Why are some mentioned in the police logs and others are not?
(A.) All I heard about are these items: A phone, A chuck of blond hair, A few blonde hairs tangled up in her ear-buds, cloths much like what SP was wearing, A knife and some nylon twine and a checkbook. I read someplace that there was a black nitrile (tattoo) glove found near the phone, but I don't know the source. .. 8808XT8BIT
(72.) Who is "Slick" and is he somehow involved in this case?
(A.) Slick was supposedly one of SP's old Boyfriends. He got out of Jail about a year before SP's vanishing act. A certain blog on the internet purported he only been released a few days before SP's vanishing act.
(73.) Who do we think gave intentional and false SP sightings to police?
(A.) LE hasn't released any data (as of yet) on false sightings to do with this case. LJ claims she didn't call and report that she had information on SP being at eyebrow place in the Mall - The day she went missing.
(74.) Has the Papini case morphed into a protection racket?
(A.) This is pure case of corruption and deceit. There seems to be 3 groups. One group pushing their kidnap story, Another trying to prove the kidnapping was a pure lie and and never happened. A third group that seems to bounce between to first two groups. This is a fake kid napping that cost California tax payers over 2 Millions dollars. Group two is trying to prove that this runaway is lying and having affairs.
(75.) Did SP actually get "branded" with an adulterous word, or was it actually a - Tattoo?
(A.) No one has ever seen any brands, burns, tattoos or anything. There is a good chance that brand story is false. There is a very good chance that LE & the SCSO lying for the family and refusing to charge them. This case is being interfered with and it looks like Sheriff Tom Bosenko is ears in a coverup.
(76.) How many times has SP actually been married .. 2 or 3 times?
(A.) It looks Sherri has been married 3 times,
(77.) Do we have any proof that SP' actually worked for AT&T?
(A.) I don't believe any proof has been shown.
(78.) How long did SP work for AT&T?
(A.) I haven't seen any proof that she worked anywhere.
(79.) SP had traveled to Humboldt County and was known there because she worked in the pot trade?
(A.) There is rumor that Sherri worked in the marijuana industry as a trimmer.
(80.) What was it about a jogging suit being seen in a Tan Chevy Suburban?
(A.) The tan Chevy Suburban is rumored to have been on the Papini property during the search. There may have been a jogging suit in the vehicle, thought that has never been confirmed.
(81.) Why was SP released from the hospital if she had so many serious injuries?
(A.) There is a good chance that the injuries were exaggerated by Sherri's husband Keith. He has changed his stories quite a few times. She was only at the hospital a few hours.
(82.) Was Sherri's nose really broken, or was that more KP drama then anything else?
(A.) The only one who ever stated that (bridge) of her nose was broken was Keith. There has never been any confirmation that she had any serious injuries.
(83.) Did LG warn Keith and tell him he shouldn't marry Sherri?
(A.) It was rumored that she did she did tell him how SP rolled.
(84.) Did Keith and Rod repeatedly tell the Papini Kids "Don't worry, Mommy will be back for Thanksgiving" a full week before Sherri returned?
(A.) Yes, he did say mommy would be home by Thanks Giving.
(85.) Is there link between Sheriff Tom Bosenko and Project Taken & Bethel church?
(A.) There is no proof of this.
(86.) Why did KP claim daycare never reached out to him when SP didn't pick up the children?
(A.) Even if Keith said this, it doesn't ring true. This is unlikely - Day would certainly reach out to all family contacts.
(87.) Is there any truth to the rumors that there are/was insiders on leaking info?
(A.) A leaked provided information that Sherri Papini had been seeing other men and was setting up a date with a man in Michigan just days before she vanished. Evidence from her phone proved this was true. The leak said there was contacts in her phone under women's names. There was a ticket in her phone with a message attached to it. The message said - woot woot two more days. LE confirmed all of them rumors.
(88.) Why is there so much anger extended from the Mayor and Prosecution offices, threatening prosecution for those that intend to keep asking questions about this case?
(A.) Sheriff Tom Bosenko is an insider who wants the case to go quietly away and allow the Papinis to get away with their lies and fake kidnapping. The want the case to be classified as open, when they aren't investing it any longer. It's all a lie - A bamboozle. It appears they are trying to seal up everything to do with the case and not allow access to it. There is plenty of interference, corruption and cronyism going on with this case.
**(89.) Why have independent investigators have been repeatedly blocked from accessing information about the case? The family and friends and some scammers set up a fake kidnapping to bring SP home a victim. They had a lot of help from big city insiders. Their story is that Sherri Papini was kidnapped by two Hispanic females in a dark colored SUV. This story doesn't strand up to any scrutiny and Sherri came home with Selective amnesia. This story / case does not hold water. LE is holding back all the facts that would prove beyond and shadow of doubt - That this is sham. They trying to like the case Sex Trafficking. She ran away from her family / vanished. There is more then enough evidence to prove this. Sex Trafficking = Kidnapping = Victim. This is why they need to pin it on sex traffickers. Don't believe it!
(90.) Sherri was, herself, a worker in the sex industry?
(A.) She was setting up a date to meet a man from Michigan when he come to California. They had met before. There was more male contacts in her phone under female names. A source leaked stated she was a member of the hook-up site - Myscarlotebook. People around Redding have stated that she was seeing other men.
(91.) Why haven't the SCSO entered those DNA samples (they retrieved from SP) into genealogical database systems like GEDmatch?
(A.) They want the case to be sealed up and access denied. This is a fake inside job kidnapping. Don't you believe it is real. They want to let them off, after costing tax payers over 2 million dollars.
(92.) Who was the trucker who come to Sherri's aide on side of the highway? (A.) I've heard it was a water truck owned by who are part of this sham. The Eversons.
(93.) Is there any truth to the rumor - that it was the driver of a water truck - owned by a certain family in Redding, who stopped and helped SP?
(94.) Over 20 search warrants were executed in the effort to determine Sherri's whereabouts. The search warrants remain sealed by order of the Shasta County Superior Court. Why are they sealed?
(95.) Why did they tell the public that no one should worry about those two Hispanic Kidnappers?
*(96.) Just how involved was local “Kidnapping Expert” (lol) C_Gamble? Was he brought in by the alleged anonymous doner (AD)? *
(97.) What was the (supposed) kidnapper’s actual motive?
(98.) Did KP really jeopardize The Investigation?
(99.) How did KP know his wife was cheating?
(100.) Why did the SCSO release those new details and then just sit on their hands?
(101.) Where are the images of Sherri’s Injuries?
(A.) No pictures of her alleged injuries have been released.
(102.) Why has the 911 call that was made by Allison Sutton never released?
(103.) Why did Keith suggest that the sex traffickers used two women to lure Sherri over to the SUV?
(104.) Why would Sherri not bolt (run for safety) if approached by people with their faces covered?
(105.) Why haven't we heard from the truck driver who "supposedly" rescued Sherri on the side of the road? What kind of truck was he driving?
(106.) Why the discrepancy in how some described her injuries (emaciated, dehydrated, severely beaten, broken bones..) and other evidence said she was in and out of the ER in the small town of Woodland like she just had a sprained ankle. If Bosenko was there to see her in the ER or even if he had someone from his staff see her, then why did his description of the severity differ so drastically from Keith's?
(107.) Is there really a link between Christine Everson and Allison Sutton?
(108.) Did insider cronyism - (Bethel (cult) Church, Redding Officials, Sheriff Tom Bosenco and LE - Let SP off the hook without charges?
(109.) Was Sherri away with her secret man the whole time and the kidnapping was/is a scapegoat story - to save her from embarrassment?
(110.) Does Michigan man have enough powerful connections to keep his identity secret?
(A.) LE knows who Michigan Man is, but didn't release those details.
(111.) How likely is it that the FOIA of California and Michigan could blow this case wide open?
(A.) Not very likely because they have everything sealed.
(112.) Was the truck driver driving a water truck and was that truck the property of the Eversons?
(113.) Was Sherri actually married 3 Times?
(A.) Yes she was.
(114.) Who was the "first" man that Sherri was married to and where is he today?
(A.) She was married to a Jewish man. I've often wonder if it is Michigan Man and if he lives in Detroit, Michigan.
(A.) This is SP's 3rd marriage. Her first marriage was to a Jewish man. Her second was to D. Dreyfus and third to K. papini.
(115.) Did Sheriff Bosenco let CG, JG, SP & KP off the hook because of his affiliation with the Bethel (cult) Church?
(A.) There are many theories on what happened to SP. There are rumors that Sherri ran off to be with another man and was never abducted. There are many who believe the official story that she was kidnapped. Her husband claimed she had been grabbed and Sherri herself claimed she had been kidnapped by two female Hispanic women (by gunpoint) driving a dark suv .. Redding is home to the Bethel**
(116.) Did Keith actually go to work the day Sherri was supposedly kidnapped?**
(A.) According to the family and LE - He did go to work that day. LE (supposedly) confirmed his whereabouts through the day.
(117.) Keith "stayed" a work all day and didn't leave to check up on Sherri?
(A.) According to LE he was working / installing electronics in homes that day. LE likely checked and confirmed those work locations. I don't know if it can proven and/or disproved - that he checked up on her .. 8808XT8BIT
(118.) Did Sherri take her dog with her when she went Jogging?
(A.) None of the neighbors (people around the area) had seen SP jogging. I don't know of any reports that SP had ever been jogging with the family dog .. 8808XT8BIT
(119.) Was the whole escapade a planned hoax right from the beginning?
(A.) I doubt it was all a planned hoax from the beginning, but there are so many things that don't add up and so many details that haven't been released, it is pretty obvious that the whole thing - has turned into what seems like a coverup .. 8808XT8BIT
(A.) Many people think it was a hoax from the beginning. Others think SP made it all up to hide a near 3 week affair. Then you have the official story - That she was kidnapped by two female Hispanic women and released 22 days later. There was also mention of her being involved in some kind of BDSM affair. We may never know what really happened .. 8808XT8BIT
(120.) SP was a freelance call-girl who dated rich men when they come to California?
(A.) She had met and stayed in contact with a man from Detroit, Michigan. She was planning to meet up with him again when he come to California (supposedly) on business. He had been in California a few days prior to SP's disappearance. SP may have been monkey branching / dishspinning and looking to upgrade. A way to get away from her family and start another life with another man. It happens .. 8808XT8BIT
(121.) Did the cops blow the case against SP by revealing private information from her phone to her husband Keith?
(A.) Unlikely - LE officers are well trained on what they can tell a spouse in these kind of situations. If she was keeping secrets from her husband about meeting other men and she up and vanished, I think LE has a right to release information about her secret activities to her husband .. 8808XT8BIT
(122.) When SP returned did she have a broken nose?
(A.) Unlikely - NOBODY but Keith has ever mentioned her having a broken nose .. .. 8808XT8BIT
(123.) Did Sheriff Bosenco have something to do with Project Taken, Bethel church and Cam_Gam's training courses?
(124.) Did some jealous wife have SP kidnapped to teach her a lesson?
(A.) Very unlikely - It doesn't take 3 weeks to teach someone a lesson .. 8808XT8BIT
(( Still needs polishing. Thanks to all who have helped with this! ))

Getting help: Doctors, therapists, support groups, rehabs, and other options

Summary

Introduction

Internet overuse might sometimes be caused (or worsened) by a psychological condition, such as ADHD, anxiety, or depression.
This post is divided into sections. First, I'll talk about about getting help for various psychological conditions. Next, I'll talk about getting help for technology overuse.

Getting help for various psychological conditions

It might be that your Internet overuse is caused (or worsened) by a psychological condition such as ADHD, anxiety, or depression. (Based on this source.) If you think this might be so, you may want to seek help for that condition first of all.
Your options may include self-help, therapy, medication, in-person support groups, and sub-Reddits. You can try just one, or all five at the same time.
  • If you want to learn about self-help techniques for any given condition, you can ask in /mentalhealth.
  • An addictions professional can provide therapy.
  • Your doctor can give you medication.
  • Google can help you find in-person support groups.
  • You can find a sub-Reddit for discussion of any given condition here.
But, if you feel that you may be addicted to technology, you might want to get technology-overuse-specific treatment at the same time. If so, please read on.

Getting help for technology overuse

Don't waste your money, and don't hit a yearly health-insurance cap, unnecessarily. Consider starting with cheap options (low "levels of care"). If they aren't enough, you can gradually try more-expensive options.
In general, you may find it easier to get insurance approval for cheaper treatments.

Levels of care

Level 0.1: Self-help at home
You might want to spend less time on the Internet, and to spend more time doing other things.
Spending less time on the Internet:
  • When your phone is idle, you can keep your phone in a specific room instead of in your pocket. The more time and effort it takes to get to the phone, the less you might use it. (Source.)
  • If you have a smartphone:
    • When you're struggling, you can temporarily shut your phone off. If you want, you can also temporarily move your SIM card to a flip phone. Or, if you're waiting for an urgent phone call, you can forward incoming calls elsewhere.
    • If you think of some information you want to look up, you need not grab your phone and do it right away. Instead, you can make a note to look it up later. You can carry a pocket notebook and a pen. See here.
      • Or, you can cancel your data plan; then, you can carry a Palm Treo, or an older BlackBerry with no Wi-Fi, or a feature phone, or a flip phone. Old-phone questions can go to /phones, /Smartphones, /techsupport, /Palm, or /blackberry. (Some vintage smartphones are 2G-only. You may need to switch to a carrier which still supports 2G, such as T-Mobile.)
    • You can uninstall social-media apps. If you can only access social media from computers, you might visit the sites less often. (Source.)
  • Minimizing distractions: If you sometimes spend too much time on Reddit, YouTube, or Facebook, or reading the news, please read the "Minimizing Distractions" guide.
  • Relapse-prevention techniques can help. Visit this article and scroll down to "Techniques for Dealing with Mental Urges" near the bottom. Then scroll back up and read the rest of the article (or watch the video).
  • You could try parental-control software, but you might find this too easy to defeat.
  • You could try self-control software. One of the gentlest options is Intent. Stricter options include Pluckeye, Cold Turkey, Offtime, and others. For a list of others, go here then scroll down to "Other self-control software".
    • If you have Pluckeye, you can set it to enforce hourly Internet breaks. See here.
    • I use Pluckeye. It blocks all images and videos on all websites, unless you whitelist a few or even whitelist the entire Internet. It's wise to start with a moderate delay (e.g. 30 or 60 minutes) until you get used to it. (Disclosure: I co-moderate /pluckeye.)
  • When you're tempted to relapse, you could instead phone (or visit) a friend. You can talk about your urge, or you can do other things. The urge will probably diminish over time. If you don't have friends, you can make friends in support group meetings. If you want to meet friends who are free during the daytime, it's best to go to meetings which take place around lunchtime.
  • Grayscale mode might help make the Internet more boring.
    • On a Windows 10 PC, just press three keys.
    • There are also built-in greyscale settings on Samsung phones, on other Android phones, on iPhones and iPads, and on other devices.
    • (There isn't any strong evidence that grayscale mode helps addicts. Some is anecdotal, and the rest might be biased. But, logically, I think grayscale mode might make the Internet more boring. Therefore, I theorize that might be helpful for at least some of the addicts who try it.)
  • You might want to try the NoSurf morning protocol.
  • The full version of the NoSurf smartphone protocol can also be helpful.
  • Perhaps kaane's proposed way to succeed at NoSurf isn't really bulletproof, but it still can be helpful.
  • You could try a minimalistic Reddit interface. For example: The NoSurf for Reddit Android app, or the cross-platform minimalist Reddit interface.
  • If you really must relapse, consider visiting /nosurf or The Fix or Wikipedia or an educational YouTube channel, or reading a novel or memoir. This might be wiser than viewing something completely frivolous such as a video-game live stream.
Spending more time doing other things:
  • Figure out what you want to do. You could spend more time on reading, music, crossword puzzles, exercise, sports, watching funny movies, phoning friends, hanging out with friends, making money, classes, volunteering, hobbies, support group meetings, cooking, cleaning, personal grooming, and/or many other things. /stopdrinking maintains a list of ideas of things that you can do when bored.
  • It can be helpful to write out an hour-by-hour schedule of suggested ideas for what to do today or tomorrow. You don't have to follow the schedule, but it's still useful to keep it in your pocket. Please see the chapter about "do-nothingism" in Feeling Good for more details on this suggestion.
  • Routines can be helpful, especially if you've paid money in advance and/or committed yourself. Then you might feel obligated to go fulfill your commitment.
Three researchers did a study to try to find the best ways to avoid smartphone overuse. You can read the human-readable summary of their results, or the original scholarly journal article.
Level 1: Outpatient care
Options include support groups, doctors, and addictions professionals. You may try just one, or all three at the same time.
  • There are various support groups which might be able to help you. These include ITAA, MAA, UA, OLGA, CGAA, NA, AA, EA, and Smart Recovery. For more details, follow the Support Group Meetings link in our sidebar's resource list.
  • An addiction doctor can give you brief weekly counseling, or anti-relapse pills, or both. Whatever you want. If you have questions about the anti-relapse pills, you can post them here or in /Alcoholism_Medication.
    • Not all addiction doctors are willing to see Internet addicts. If they work in a methadone clinic, they might not be willing to see you. If they work in an addiction-medicine clinic, they might be willing. You can just phone their office and ask whether or not they're willing to see Internet addicts.
  • An addictions professional can give you therapy. It's definitely wise to choose someone with addictions training. Preferably with at least a master's degree: e.g. in social work or psychology. You can ask an addiction doctor to recommend a competent professional.
If you phone an addiction doctor, and they tell you that they help drug addicts only, you can ask them who else to call. Or you can just phone a different another addiction doctor yourself.
Many health-insurance plans fully cover addiction-doctor visits. But it's best to ask the doctor and make sure he accepts your insurance.
In some cities, RateMDs.com can show you ratings of addiction doctors. Elsewhere, you can use the ASAM doctor directory, and you can check Google Maps or Yelp for reviews.
Level 2.1: Intensive outpatient programs
An intensive outpatient program (IOP) might be several hours per night, several nights per week. You can still work or go to school while you're in an IOP.
You can go to a general-purpose IOP for addictions in general. These IOPs are available everywhere.
If you happen to live near Connecticut, know that the Center for Internet and Technology Addiction runs IOPs just for technology/porn addictions. The center is run by a psychologist with extra training in addictions and, uh, "energy healing".
Level 2.5: Half-day or full-day rehab
Each day, you go to rehab for either half a day or a full day.
Each evening, you go back home and rest up to prepare for the next day.
After a month, the program is over.
Level 3: Live-in rehab
You live inside the rehab center for a while.
This is the most expensive option.
In the US, a company named "reSTART" runs a live-in rehab program for technology addiction near Seattle.
Or you can go to a general-purpose rehab center. These centers can treat substance addicts, gambling addicts, and technology addicts.
An average rehab stay might be 28 days. A long-term stay might be much longer. [Edit: John Volken Academy isn't actually a long-term rehab; it's a "therapeutic community". Now that I've read this review and this article, I worry that it may be more harmful than helpful. Allegations which worry me are the punishments, the difficulty of leaving, and the monitoring of family contact.]
Some notes about rehab
In the US, an average rehab costs $30,000 for 30 days; there are usually better ways to spend that money. It takes way more than thirty days to make major life changes. You might instead want to get therapy from addictions professionals, for an hour or more per month, for at least six to twelve months. Meanwhile, if necessary, you can live in a well-run sober living house. (Sober homes are useful for substance addicts. I don't know whether or not they're useful for technology overuses. Try living in one, and see for yourself.) (Some sober homes might insist that you go to AA or NA meetings every week. If you want to go to Smart Recovery meetings instead, check with the landlord before you pay your first month's rent.)
Perhaps 90% of rehab facilities worldwide use the "Minnesota treatment model". It's not clear to me that this model works well for most people. If you don't accept a higher power, the Minnesota model is definitely not the best choice for you.
See Inside Rehab by Anne Fletcher for more information.

Miscellaneous options

In addition to sober living houses, there are also sober colleges, sober dorms, and other services. I don't know very much about these services. I also don't know whether or not they're helpful they are for technology overusers, because I haven't tried them.

iOS gaming no.

Alternatively, you can message me on Reddit, or send me an [email](mailto:[email protected]) (But please don't abuse my inbox!).

(GUIDE) How to block porno on android devices and browse safe.

Skip down, don't read this introduction
So, I'm trying to block everything that might give me access to porno. I had to make my samsung tablet safe and couldn't find any good instruction on that so I have found my own solution.
So.. 1. Download 'Applock' in google play. This app allows you to set password for any app that you don't want to use. 2. In this app you have to set to block browsers like Google chrome or default browser and also you should block Google play so that you can not download any new browser. Make a long password that you won't remember. 3. After setting the password and choosing apps to block, 'Applock' will ask you to make your secureness higher and you should agree. Then it will want you to download some additional app, do it. It will block you the possibity of uninstalling the 'Applock'. 4. The password that you have set I highly recommend you to write on some paper only. I actually have written my password and few additional, mixed them and put in some box under my desk. 5. Download special safe browser 'SPIN' from Google play. It works pretty well and what's important - it blocks porno and only porno. It still allows you to read about hacking, abortion or gambling and use it as normal browser.
Is this a practical solution ? Well, it's not ideal. . But the ones who are going to win on nofap are the ones who are capable of doing anything to success. And to people who say that it is more important to maintain self-discipline than to block access to porn in any possble way. Well, I think that it's better to have longer streak using blockers and restrictions than to not have any and if you're fighting with PMO and can't win, don't waste your time doing this in a way that doesn't work. Just help yourself with these blockers.
My longest streaks, also the one that took almost 4 months I made after installing k9 browser on my iPhone and computer.
Sorry for my bad english.

My Vegas Trip - Just got back Oct. 2nd 2017

Okay, so here it goes. There may be some typos and I apologize for that, since I hate that as well, but I mainly wanted to get out my insane week in Vegas, going for the first time.
(Fortunately, I did not goto the Route 91 concert, so this story does not include any first-hand experiences from that event. If you are mainly looking for that, then this is not the post for you. Sorry :/ )
TL;DR Went to Vegas for the first time and had a wild time.
I was going to Las Vegas for a singing competition being held at Vince Neils Tatuado in Circus Circus. I had gone through reviews of hotels, airlines, places to get good deals, etc and ended up just trying to go with the lowest cost trip I could find. In terms of strictly Airfare/Room, it cost me $330 for 2 Round trip tickets from DFW/LAS and $226 for 1 week in a 1-bedroom apartment. (More on the apartment) This is not counting the amount of money I ended up spending all week on Lyft/Food/Gambling/Lyft/Souvenirs/Gambling and Lyft plus those unexpected expenses that come up, which they did. I haven't even counted it up yet, just not ready for that yet.
Spirit Airlines AirBnB
I honestly should have:
-- Gone with the package we were offered for our team in the competition, which would have been about $350/week for Circus Circus in the Main Tower facing the strip. -- Played the MyVegas app prior to going to Vegas (had I known about it) and racked up some points to get discounts at hotels -- Picked a different AirBnB further from the strip initially
Every little thing that could happen to hinder your trip/experience, or try to sway you from having a good time happened. Thankfully, there were dispensaries in Vegas which saved the day, literally at one point. I tried getting an AirBnB for 3 people since one of the other singers wanted to tag along, to make sure he had a place to sleep and stay. I could have got an AirBnb at a house, apartment, hotel, etc somewhere closer to Circus Circus and with more amenities that this one, but I settled for what I thought was a one bedroom apartment all to ourselves, 5 minutes from the Strip. Now, I have never been to Vegas and even thought there are numerous resources you can goto for information and guides on where to stay, it was pretty overwhelming and I ended up only doing about 20% of my research. The AirBnB was around Tropicana and Maryland Pkwy. I soon found out that area was interesting. The host showed up half naked, in a see-through shirt an hour late, kept the talks strictly "business". We were dropped off and I found out we had one bedroom in a 3/bdr apt, with other occupants. The couch which I thought my other friend could crash on since I paid for 3 ppl was not for sleeping, just for staring at the wall or fireplace. Maybe reading/talking if you are into that sort of thing while in Vegas. The room ended up being exactly what I paid for, and the other occupants were 2 attractive women, and we are 2 attractive men, so we decided we can make this work and to go with it. Went walking to the first dispensary, and took the Lyft back since yeah. This so far was the only highlight besides just taking in the sights. I think we were still checking out if the area was secure enough to leave our stuff in the room, so we didn't really go too far. We mainly smoked, talked to the "Tatiana's" (They were both named Tatiana <-- not sure if spelled right though) and plotted what we wanted to do the next day. We wake up to no power in the apartment. We thought it was our room only, but nope. We check the breakers, outside and confirm she didn't pay her bill. We text her and she states it is paid and they are turning it back on. I wait about 30 minutes before I tweet AirBnB and give them a call because hell no. They mentioned they needed to at least try and contact the host and get a response, which I understood, but they were understanding of my situation. They had first asked if it came back on in the next 30-45 minutes, if that would be acceptable, and even though it would solve the situation, I had explained that this was my first time with AirBnB and Las Vegas, and this will be the experience I am left with. The rep had already given me $100 coupon for my next time, but this would not helping the current situation. After about a couple of hours of waiting, I just got a room at Circus Circus. It was Tuesday already, and I got the room for that night until Friday for $200 online. Not bad, since it was last minute. The power was still not on when we left the apartment and I felt this was more of the host defaulting on their contract as a host, rather than just a bad experience. They offered a full refund in cash, or refund plus 10% for another AirBnB. I didn't have room for Friday-Monday and accepted a workaround for accommodations for that date in a different area. The "Booking Queen" took care of everything and I ended up only paying $20 for a Condo right off Fremont street next to The Cortez. Top floor, rooftop heated pool/jacuzzi, the works. I just had to wait until Friday. Circus Circus was not bad, compared to the reviews I read. I am father or two wonderful children, so I thought this place would be great for them. The kids around me did were not bothersome, and the activities around the place was honestly great. Being a kid inside probably helps. My brother ended up spending almost all his cash on slots, even though we both knew that they had the least payout or return of all the games. He wanted to play roulette and I wanted to play blackjack, but Vegas gets you since the first slot he played was in the airport. Straight off the plane, recently turned 21, turns $5 into $35 and he was hooked. Pretty lights, colors, sounds, cartoons, etc. all around you just waiting for you to play them. We know we will lose, but we both agree to play about $20 to kill time and just have some fun. I think I ended up being up about $70 before I cashed out and he went up about $150 before he did. We did day two of our Dispensary tour and stocked back up. All our gambling throughout the entire week ended up netting us just enough money to pay for our flowefood and a little extra to gamble with for the whole week. We partook everyday and gambled everyday. Me with an initial $60 start and him with about $100. We took in the sights, avoided the street "dealers", gambled on the slots too much at Circus Circus and eagerly waited until Friday. The competition happened and ended a little differently than I expected, but it didn't prevent any good times or fun we had. Friday comes and we are checking out of Circus Circus at 11am. We cannot check-in until 4pm to the Condo, so the host mentioned we could leave our bags with the front desk while the place was cleaned, and we could take in the sights of Fremont street. We get back to the room and our flower was stolen from our bags, by the security guard, in the security office of these condos. Million dollar condos with you would think, good security and yeah, stolen. Diamond, Platinum and Gold from the Reef Dispensary. The priciest one of them all that we went to, and he just goes through our things randomly since the jars are sealed glass, and just takes them. The building cannot do anything since we are staying with AirBnB and not a resident, and even though we had a receipt, we ended up dropping it since the security guard got fired anyway. Turned those 3 grams into some pretty expensive flower. They were all honestly great, minus one bad attitude from the last one we went to, but the Reef was awesome. Khalifa Kush, Sunset Sherbert, Platinum Girl Scout Cookies, mmmm. Pricey, but honesty the same you would pay in the street, from what I have read online.
That whole 4 days we were waiting was made worse, since I had enough money to cover myself in food/lyft and to get by until Friday when I got paid. I knew I was good then, but I had to spend the rest of my money on the room for that week, just to make sure we had a place to sleep. My brother had his cash and since it was only for him, we had to pretty much make it work throughout the week for both of us, which we did. Everything was expensive too, Starbucks, McDonalds, Lyft lol, we always ended up having just enough to have a good time, have something to eat and drink and get around to where we needed to. Fremont was the best though. We wished we had ended up there in the beginning. Music, better casinos, food, culture, art on the sides of walls, talent all throughout the street, just one big party. We watched AlterEgo live which was pretty awesome. They put on a great show and the vibe around you was just great. You are laughing your ass off at some of the comedy acts on the street, wowed at others and then you also pass by performers who are wearing next to nothing. Almost naked and you want to stare, because hey, you are in Vegas, they are attractive and naked and well they are naked. It is weird, but you end up not staring and just kind of laughing at the situation. I took one last look though, just to make sure nothing changed. The zipline looks fun and next time, I would not mind taking that for a ride. The Cortez was our favorite place. I now like blackjack. I did not learn to count cards, just the basic strategy and ended up coming out on top always. I would lose some nights, but I could go back and always double or triple my money. Dealers would stare at me at times, the men in suits would come by the tables and sometimes talk with me for a bit to feel me out, but I just have that kind of luck. Either I am not winning the hands, but others around me are getting blackjack multiple times or winning, or the dealer would bust when I needed it. I should have played the Royal Match more too. I would have made so much more on that. Ended up hanging out with a blackjack dealer the next night and just chilled/smoked/laughed and then used Lyft. Really cool chick. We had plans to rent a car on Sunday, goto the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Red Rock, Gold/Silver Pawn Shop, Ricks Restorations, Kounts Kustoms, but no place takes debit cards for car rentals. We ended up gambling again, having some fun on Fremont street for a little more and then had plans to go check out a show or possibly Route 91 since I was dressed like a cowboy for the competition and that was working out reaaaallllyyyy well. Props from everyone in the hat and the whole look. Fun times. The Chevelle concert the night before didn't go as planned either since a fight broke out right before it started and it was so packed, we just took off. We weren't getting good vibes and being so packed, we did not want to take any chances, which led to another Dispensary time. Before we even heard anything about the shooter, we saw about 12 cops past Fremont by the freeway with some vans. We thought it was a drug bust, but soon found out it was SWAT or some team. The concert had already started and we wanted to goto the Dispensary again before we went, just for good measure. As soon as we got in, thats when it happened. We were not really looking at the time, but you could see the flashing lights on the corners of the street which the driver mentioned were cameras and alert signals. We get to the dispensary and the guard is armed with an assault rifle. Street corners have police posted, blocking some routes and full armed as well. You don't really understand the full gravity of the situation, or what is happening. You think it is something out of the movies, a man trying to rob the casino or threatening to shoot, but you just assume Vegas has handled these types of situations all the time, and it was nothing new. We stayed the entire night at the Condo, listening the police scanners, just waiting. I couldn't sleep. The streets were quiet, maybe 10-20 people walking that you could see. We had a pretty good view from where we were and there was nothing. Fremont was empty. All of the buildings in Vegas had their rooftop red lights turn on at the same time, which was weird, but just figured it was for the situation going on. I am not going to get into the details of what I heard on the scanner or the stories from the people I met afterwards. There is plenty of conspiracy posts online regarding that, I will just say after that you just shutdown. Nowhere near what the people there went through, but just being 10 miles away from there and knowing there are people hurt, dead or just going through one of the worst experiences of their lives gets to you. You want to help, but you are torn between the police telling you to stay inside, not having your own transportation and the area being blocked off by police already. I feel like crap that I didn't try. I wasn't sure if I could, but I was more focused on just being safe. You assume everything. I thought a bomb was going to go off, that our flights were going to be cancelled, that someone was going to drive into a crowd on the sidewalk at every intersection I crossed. Just constantly on alert and knowing you are going to have to answer a lot of texts. The next day I was in a daze the whole time. Our flight ended up getting delayed about an hour and we left around 7pm. There were people crying in the airport, but mostly people trying to cheer you up. TSA was the nicest I have seen, people willing to talk to you, just the need for comfort. I know there are probably a lot more little stories I am leaving out, but being in Vegas a week becomes a blur. You never really pay attention to time except when you are checking out/in, you are immersed in a huge online video game with micro-transactions everywhere and you spend way more money than you anticipate. I want to go back again sometime, and I highly recommend looking for an AirBnB around Freemont street. Perfect location.
My little notes:
Spirit Airlines were better than I thought, compared to the reviews. Print out your ticket, buy your baggage online when you check-in prior to your flight and pick your seat. The flight was the best I had been on, really smooth and the view was amazing.
AirBnB was great. Customer Service was awesome, they really were empathetic to my situation and made a bad experience turn into an unforgettable one.
Circus Circus is honestly a really good deal and has almost everything you need. If you are a family person, or bringing your family, stay there. Vegas is not a family-friendly town I don't think. Fremont street was too much for kids and everything is sexualized, so just keep your kids at home and enjoy it by yourselves.
Play MyVegas facebook app if you have FB. You can rack up lots of points and have enough to cover a good amount of expenses for you.
Rent a car lol. I think Fox Rental was one of the lowest rates, but even some of the Lyft drivers offer rentals. As low as $25/day, you don't need a sportscar unless you just want to spend the money on it. You can get those 3 wheel motorcycle things with two seats. I saw them for around $350/day or $75/hr. Expensive, but damn it looks fun. There are also these electric scooter thingies at the Container Park off Fremont. As low as $6.50/hr, you can schedule a slot and use those to get around. I didn't know you had to schedule ahead of time, so I did not use them, but really looked fun and worth the price.
The Cortez had the best blackjack that we played at. Single deck, pays 3 to 2 and $5 minimum bet. We went to about 4 other casinos and won at 2 of them, but the Cortez had the best payout.
I had no sex in Las Vegas. Sorry if you were looking for juicy details, but I'm not going to pay for it and it's not in me to go to a bar and try to pickup a woman just to have sex. My game is not that good and it's just not me, so no crazy "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" stories, but at least I did not come back with something that stays with you after you leave Vegas.
Long ass post, but I wanted to get it out and write it down. Thanks for reading if you got through it all.
**I have pics on Instagram of the trip if you want to check them out "thethomasbeck" - iPhone 7+ and it does a pretty good job too with no other editing software except the built-on Photos app and Instagram filters/editing.
